âī¸ Liability Waiver & Terms of Service
By approving any quote or authorizing any requested service, the Client agrees to the following terms:
Pre-Existing Equipment Condition: The Client acknowledges that pool equipment (including but not limited to pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, valves, and pipework) is subject to wear, tear, and degradation over time. Poolside Paradise is not responsible for the sudden failure, cracking, leaking, or electrical shorting of any pre-existing equipment during the course of standard diagnostics, maintenance, or operation.
Hydrostatic Pressure & Draining: Poolside Paradise will not fully drain a pool without an explicit, signed structural release from the homeowner. We accept no liability for structural lifting, popping, or liner damage caused by hydrostatic groundwater pressure or underground water tables.
Chemical Reactions & Stain Disclosure: While performing "Green-to-Clean" restorations, heavy chemical treatments are required. Poolside Paradise is not liable for the revealing of pre-existing interior surface stains, plaster etching, or vinyl liner fading that becomes visible once the water is restored to a crystal-clear state.
Water Loss: We accept no responsibility for water loss due to pre-existing structural cracks, leaking underground plumbing, or faulty multi-port valves that fail during routine backwashing or vacuuming-to-waste.

Filter Media Deep Clean/Change: Clean cartridge filters or replace sand/glass media before the heavy summer swimming load begins.
Salt Cell Decalcification: Inspect and acid-wash the chlorinator cell to ensure maximum chlorine production for the hot months ahead.
Phosphate Treatment: Knock out phosphates accumulated from winter rain to starve potential algae blooms before they start.

Stabilizer (Cyanuric Acid) Top-Up: Check sun-screen levels in the water to ensure the hot summer sun doesn't burn off chlorine instantly.

Timer & Output Reduction: Dial back pump running times to 4â6 hours per day and lower chlorinator output to save the client electricity.

Equipment Exercise Runs: It is advise to run auxiliary equipment (like solar pumps or water features) over the winter to prevent mechanical seals from seizing up
